A transition to new love CIELXREADER [part 8]

It was a few weeks after the fight between Claude and Sebastian.  Things at the manor had calmed down, there was no sign of anything new to come. Peaceful days had been all that was in sight.  Sebastian, however, was extra cautious for Ciel. The entirety of his days were committed to him.

"____, I need to see you." Sebastian took your hand. "It's about the young master." Anything related to your new betrothed  was worth hearing.  You followed him into your guest room. The room that you had ignored. You'd been in Ciel's room every night.
"Ciel is in grave danger...I've done a decent job of keeping things hidden from him, yet, I needed your help. I understand that a demon should not be asking a mortal, a young mortal for help. But by the sake of my contract, whatever means necessary to protect my master, that action will be taken."

"I understand." You were unsure of what was going on, but you were all ears.

"Alois Trancy is planning an attack. Claude Faustus is another demon who is bound by Alois' contract. They are both obsessed with Ciel and plan to take whenever the next possibility is. I need your help in protecting him. I need you to keep him safe while I destroy Claude. " Sebastian looked embarrassed at the fact that he needed help from a young, mortal girl. In normal conditions, you knew that he would never ask such a thing.

"I'll do whatever it takes. I love Ciel, and I won't lose him."  That day, you agreed to potentially meet your end by saving the man you loved. One you'd grown to care for more than anyone else in your entire life. In the short time you'd been with him, you'd forgotten family and friends. He became your life, your blood, your oxygen. And you loved it.


Several days had passed. Sebastian and you had spent more time together than you had ever expected. You planned, understood the course of action that was to occur. No matter what, you had to protect Ciel. The date had been set.

"I've scheduled a party for next Thursday." Ciel stated. It was Friday; you now had less than a week to compose yourself and be prepared for the fight. The ultimate fight.
