You got chills. Was this "Jeff" just messing with you?
He didn't seem like a bad guy, after all. He's just an outcast, like you.
There's nothing wrong with that, right?
The bus ride seemed eternal. Each stop was an excruciating wait as he stared. You saw him stare.
You decided to go sit by him while the bus was stopped.
"I noticed you kept staring. I'm not quite blind...Yet. I've got a tad or peripheral vision left." You smiled, an attempt to hide your anxiety and frustration in this situation. You were so drawn to him, yet you felt unsafe, like he was dangerous.
"I couldn't help myself." Jeff's grin lessened, but it wasn't that he wasn't pleased. It was a different kind of smile. It was more...deranged.
"Well, that's okay. I don't mind. What's your first class?" The bus was pulling into the school. Finally.
"It's..." He pulled out a terribly crumpled schedule out. It had brownish-red stains on it.
"It's honors English 11..." He crumpled the paper back into his pocket. "It's with Mrs. Frech."
"Really? Me too! At least I won't be alone, then." You smiled, trying not to let his demeanor get the best of you.
The bus parked. "Hey..." He reached and clinched your hand. "We should walk together..." His mouth curled into a smile once more. But, you almost didn't want to walk with him. After all, it was your first day, and to be seen with someone with his reputation, well, it just might soil your own.
"Sure...We can walk together." You walked with him into the school building, noticing that smile on his face. The unusual , deranged one.
As you two left the bus, kids snickered, making vile and awful remarks toward you. It bothered you, it was your first day here, and already the torment had begun.
But, what was odd was, Jeff moved as usual, his face was curved and disfigured into a smile, and his general mannerisms remained calm and unaffected.
As you entered the school, it almost seemed like every teacher and student which had arrived stared at you both in shock. It wasn't as if you two had killed someone...What was their problem?
"I can tell." He slowly surveyed the room, as if he was scouting for something. "I can tell that this will be a great year...heh. For us."
That smile. It was a mistake for you to ever speak to him.
Or....was it?

Staring up at the killer made you begin to tremble. When he looked over his shoulder at Jane and Liu and the tall man, you tried to struggle free, but he grabbed your arms and pinned you down. At least his knife wasn’t about to plunge into your collarbone. You breathed a sigh of relief. However, this didn’t mean you were safe.
All of a sudden you heard a little girl’s voice. “Rake!!!

**** Your POV ****
You sat on the bus, in the back, with a beautiful woman named Jane, a masked boy named Liu, and some guy dressed like a clown named Jack. Jack seemed pretty friendly with Jane and Liu to have this been their first encounter. You stare quietly at Jane and Jack who were having a pretty intense conversation.
You zoned out for the moment. All of a sudden, Jack turns to you and says, “So you’re (f/n). Hi! I’m Jac
