The carriage was teetering back in forth in the storm. It was a very cold evening and you were wrapped in several layers of clothing. As you reached the Manor, You immediately became nervous. This would be your first interview for a job; though you were only fifteen, this would be your profession until something got in the way. Upon approaching the dorr, it was opened before your fist was even raised to knock.

"Welcome to the Phantomhive manor, You must be ______. It's very good to meet you. A tall, black haired man appeared before you.

You worked diligently everyday. Never a single speck of dust was left on any item. The best maid you could be. On this particular day, it was rainy, just like the past few weeks you'd worked, but something was different. Ciel had begun to act weird.

"____." He called.

"Sir?"

"You missed a spot." He'd say. He started that that day. He'd been saying nothing for so long now, that his speech allowed you to know something was different.

Those days continued until now. You were now 16, and you and Ciel were friends. Today was different, though. You were called in to see him today. You entered the room, shaking is your own skin, frustrated and worried that you were in trouble. Ciel was turning 17 soon, perhaps that was it? You didn't know what to think, too many thoughts were eating at you.

"_____. Come in, please." Ciel gave a faint smile. The one you only saw when you two were together, true happiness...or at least, that's what you hoped.

"Yes, sir?" He gestured for you to sit. As you sat in the chair, he intertwined his fingers, resting his chin on them.

"We need to talk." He briefly looked down, then immediately back to you. "I've decided I love you. Sebastian will take care of Elizabeth, as we had planned...as for now." He stood up, walking in front of you. "I'd like to ask you something."

Your heart began to race. Was he going to ask you? It'd only been a year and a half...Was this too soon?

He got on one knee. You knew all his secrets...he'd told you how Sebastian was a demon, About the contract...everything.

"I'd like you to marry me...Will you take me?" The blush you'd only seen once, the time you first kissed, it had reappeared.

"I will."
